The automotive industry is living more than ever from a high degree of automation. For our customer, LogSystems Fördertechnik und Automatisierungs- GmbH & Co KG, a specialist in conveyor and automation technology, we have built conveyor vehicles for assembly work as electric monorail systems – the very conveyor vehicles that usually play a prominent role in the image films of car manufacturers.
The electric monorail system is equipped with vehicles and load handling devices. We realized the entire assembly from the laser part or saw cut to the mechanically assembled conveyor. The exchange of the underlying CAD data worked smoothly and enabled us to achieve lean production. This is because the programming of the laser cut or folding machine could be carried out directly from the data. LogSystems in turn took care of the necessary electrical engineering itself, as well as commissioning. We assembled 172 units and packed them in boxes.
An example of how we as a supplier partner can optimally integrate ourselves into the customer’s process – just as the customer wishes. We are able to do this because we have just as much experience as a general contractor for complete projects – e.g. in the dismantling of nuclear power plants – as we do in the development and manufacture of prototypes or small series. This makes us a highly flexible partner for many mechanical engineering sectors.
